There is an endless amount of misinformation about the Bible online. Of course, there are scoffers who aim to discredit the Bible as myth, and mock those who are aware of a spiritual dimension.
But there are also all sorts of false prophets, including mega-successful “prosperity preachers” who fill churches the size of football stadiums (or at least used to). While their message appeals to a generation filled with shallow consumers who are obsessed with their own image, it also drives millions of thoughtful and intelligent people away.
There are also hundreds of videos all over the internet created by well-meaning but ill-equipped Christians. They publish videos filled with errors and omissions. And finally, add to that a handful of dry sermons delivered by dull , uninspiring old-school preachers who were never capable of grasping the heart and soul of the Bible, and now you have a hot mess.
